Production Coordinator

The Production Coordinator provides clerical support to production supervisors and management. This position will compile and record production data to prepare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of raw material, quality control, maintenance expense, safety tracking and other aspects of production.


  • Work with operations management to accurately process all production reports, including, but not limited to daily measure reports and Cost of Quality
  • Maintain accurate production information from reports and circulate accordingly.
  • Track Cost of Quality (COQ) and compares vs Plan variances; internal and external
  • Purchases maintenance, safety and manufacturing supplies
  • Run and distribute daily reject reports from Masterpack
  • Scans invoice and maintain internal expense logs; reconciles with Concur and general ledger
  • Creates monthly expense log files; inputs historical data & budget information
  • Ensures payments to vendors and contracted outside companies
  • Populates fiscal snapshot; forecasted and actual spends vs budget
  • Input and track daily production efficiencies, material used, etc.
  • Enter paint usage and formulas into ERA database for internal tracking and reconciliation
  • Track paints and skin rejects; make adjustments in Masterpack and run UPMH reports
  • Process and track Quality SOP/Most 1 Audits
  • Populate and distribute daily Quality reports
  • Track submitted EHS forms; populate Safety snapshot and distribute scorecard
  • Create run-in schedule
  • Update Safety/Quality awards tracker
  • Track monthly lost doors; quantity and dollar amount
  • Backup invoicing and LTL
  • Work with management to provide any kind of clerical support needed
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor/management


  • Education: High School Diploma or Associated Degree in Business preferred
  • Experience: 2-3 years clerical support
  • Outstanding computer skills primarily with Excel is a must; creating spreadsheets, charts and pivot tables
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • General understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipment.
  • Ability to make decisions based on standard practices.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Must be organized, able to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task.
  • Analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for reports.

Exhibits good personal organization skills and interpersonal skills and works well with a variety of people
