Responsibilities

Masonite is looking for a software developer/engineer intern with a passion for developing websites and building applications that make a positive impact to users and the business.

 

  • The intern will learn and utilize industry-relevant technologies such as PHP, Bootstrap, JavaScript, React, WordPress, HTML5, CSS3 to develop mobile responsive websites and applications in an Agile start-up environment.  
  • Actively participate in our Agile ceremonies, participate in testing and other quality assurance activities, and work with the team to diagnose and resolve bugs. 
  • The intern will have exposure to real production applications and mentor opportunities with an enterprise architect to learn and practice pragmatic architectural design.

Qualifications

  • Current bachelor or above degree-seeking student in a technical field such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering. 
  • Working knowledge or exposure of one or more: WordPress, PHP, MySQL, Bootstrap, JavaScript (ES6), React, HTML5, Sass, or CSS3.
  • Passion for working with a startup type of environment and culture. 
  • Ability to work in our Ybor office Agile Development experience
