    Responsibilities

    Maintenance Technicians will perform a range of mechanical, electrical and HVAC duties at the direction of the Maintenance Manger that are necessary to keep the operations of the various departments functioning properly.

    • Maintenance Technicians will perform a range of mechanical, electrical and HVAC duties at the direction of the Maintenance Manger that are necessary to keep the operations of the various departments functioning properly.
    • Repair, replace, adjust, align, inspect, operate, test and reassemble defective or malfunctioning equipment using hand or power tools while keeping supervisors informed of any significant problems or opportunities related to work activity.
    • Perform routine maintenance and inspect drives, motors and belts to ensure that equipment / systems are operational.
    • Connect power unit to machines or thermal oil piping to equipment, and test unit to evaluate its mechanical operations.
    • Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical, plumbing, machinery and equipment per Work Orders in a timely manner as assigned.
    • Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion. Returning tools to assigned area. Replacing all guards and safety items when work is complete.
    • Know and adhere to all Policy and Procedures - Hot Works, Confined Space, Lock Out Tag Out, and any Safety Procedures.

    Qualifications

    Skills Required:

    • Ability to Read Electrical Schematics.
    • Experience using Multi Meter to Troubleshoot Electrical Problems.
    • Basic Understanding of the NEC.
    • Experience working on a Facility’s Electrical Power Distribution System, up to 480 volts.
    • Some understanding of Pneumatic and Hydraulics Systems.
    • Mechanical Experience.
    • Be able to Lift 50 lb. overhead, Bend into tight spots, and not afraid to get dirty.

    Desired Skills:

    • Basic Understanding of NFPA 79 and/or 70E
    • Experience with RSLogix Software for troubleshooting.
    • Experience troubleshooting using PLC logic viewing software.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office; Access and/or PowerPoint.
    • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
    • Reading 1-Line Diagrams.
    • Reading PI&D Diagrams.
    • CAT5 Cabling.
    • HVAC Experience
    • Pluming Experience
    • Forklift Driving Experience
    • Basic knowledge of OSHA General Industry Rules.
    • Experience working on CNC Equipment
