    (This is a Part Time position)



    The Quote Desk Specialist focuses on expanding Masonite brand, product awareness, and use within the construction community by driving volume-based sales through retail channels such as The Home Depot and Lowe’s.



    • Generates quotes based on leads submitted from the field sales ASMs
    • Quotes generation turn-around time is imperative to this business, and a 24-48 hour lead time is expected for all quote submissions
    • Prepares monthly reports and stats around large volume quotation
    • Manages SharePoint site for retail quoting
    • Partners with regional managers in training retail ASMs on large volume quoting best practices and procedures
    • Follows-up on existing quotes to assist the field in closing sales
    • Coordinates with other quote specialists to standardize procedures, share best practices and provide coverage
    • Maintains accurate and complete quote information for rapid order entry
    • Determines pricing guidelines and necessary compliance with organizational regulations
    • Develops bill of materials and product costing in ERP system in support of special product quoting
    • Assists field sales coordinator in POG maintenance for retail accounts utilizing JDA program software
    • Executes special projects help field retail team win in the marketplace



    • Microsoft Excel skills
    • Team player attitude


    • Up to 15% travel 
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or relevant transferable experience
    • 1-4 years of account development, sales, retail merchandising and/or customer service
    • This is a part time position around 25 hours per week
