Responsibilities

Masonite is looking to hire a contract IT Recruiter to source, attract, and recruit technical resources for our digital business unit and will be responsible for full life cycle recruitment of software development candidates. 

 

  • Conduct intake meetings to gather requisition requirements and create performance objectives for the position. 
  • Write/update job description for requisition to reflect required job specifications.
  • Post requisitions on applicable sourcing platforms. 
  • Screen resumes in active pool of candidates for each open requisition per requirements
  • Source passive candidates through typical and creative sourcing venues. 
  • Conduct phone screenings with candidates against requirements gathered from intake meeting and specifications of requisition. 
  • Summarize candidate profile and submit to hiring managers. 
  • Schedule hiring manager and digital team phone interviews and facilitate onsite interview scheduling. 
  •  Lead interview debrief meetings for interview feedback. 
  • Provide offer guidance and soft close of candidates. 
  • Coordinate with HR on initializing offer process and onboarding

Qualifications

  • Four (4) plus years of experience in IT Recruiting. 
  • Experience recruiting full life cycle development candidates such as developers, QAs, BAs, PMs, POs, architects, etc. 
  • Experience recruiting Java, PHP, and Front-End React Developers. 
  • Expert at sourcing and developing relationships with candidates
  • Experience using all the standard resources (social media, job boards, LinkedIn, networking, etc.)
  • Strong internal relationships with the Digital team to qualify requirements and deliver candidates; align talent pipeline with Digital roadmap
  • Excellent communicator
  • Experience recruiting for start-up or Digital organizations
