    Responsibilities

    We are looking for a Maintenance Technician, Certified Electrician will implement a preventive maintenance program, troubleshoot and provide support for existing and new machines.

     

    • Will provide input for selection of appropriate manufacturing equipment to ensure the most cost efficient solution is available within company budget guidelines.

    • Will maintains manufacturing staff by orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.

    • Implement Total Preventive Maintenance and support lean manufacturing while maximizing production. 
    • Provide input for selection of appropriate manufacturing equipment to ensure the most cost efficient/reliable solution is available within company budget guidelines.
    • Identify opportunities to reduce maintenance and energy costs.
    • Perform production equipment relocations and repair, including electrical, mechanical, and ventilation work. Coordinate sub-trades as required by licensing and codes.

    Qualifications

    • Licensed electrician, with millwright training preferred.
    • Two (2) year technical degree or 2 year min. experience in electrical, mechanical, industrial / manufacturing setting.
    • Two (2) years prior experience working with and repairing machinery such as CNC machines, PLC boards and other technologically advanced equipment helpful.
