    Responsibilities

    This position is a contract role

     

    Confirmations/Compliance

    • PO Acknowledgements – Serve as the central point of contact for supplier’s written order acknowledgement.  Review and confirm supplier’s acknowledged price, quantity and estimated time of arrival against the Masonite purchase order.  Track supplier performance against the Masonite Confirmation Policy for written order acknowledgements.
    • Metrics– Generate weekly reports that maintain and track transactional productivity metrics (service/delivery, acknowledgements, volumes/buyer, etc.) to identify efficiencies and report out to the Global Sourcing, Central Procurement, and Operations functions.   Reviews performance of all execution areas within team and helps to identify areas for improvement
    • Compliance / controls- Monitor compliance metrics such as invoice/PO pricing variance, compliance to contracts to ensure that all purchase are at contract price with approved suppliers.  Work with internal departments to implement changes/additions in regulatory/governmental compliance
    • Work with Masonite plants to convert plant quality claims into form supplier credit request/claims and send to Masonite related suppliers.
    • Continuing to build up Masonite supplier credit/claim financing data base and defects data base.
    • Work with Masonite suppliers on supplier credits for SCRs on a timely basis.
    • Work with Masonite financing team to process and keep good record on the claim related supplier credits.
    • Run SCRs reports on a weekly/monthly basis.  

    Qualifications

    • BA/BS preferred in a related field
      2+ years experience in sourcing, supply chain role or materials control
      2+ years experience in manufacturing environment
      2+ years experience with integrated ERP system
      • Ability to analyze data to determine actions and effective in problem solving Extensive knowledge of manufacturing environment and strong process knowledge and persistence to drive change management initiatives.
      • Strong knowledge of materials within commodity group
      • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with key business partners and work across all levels within the organization.
      • Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently
      • Knowledge of laws, ordinances, and regulators pertaining to corporate purchasing practices
      • Excellent communication and organizational skills with advance competency in Microsoft applications; Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
      • Outstanding organizational/planning and interpersonal skills and attention to detail
