    The Quality Manager leads and drives a consistent message about quality with an emphasis on defining and implementing quality inspection, auditing, and driving the definition of a site quality metrics, reporting and operating mechanisms. The Quality Manager coaches and develops team members, improve skill-sets, identify best practices, and optimize the use of quality tools to enable the team to provide superior quality. The Quality Manager maintains quality compliance by identifying quality requirements; disseminate standards, policies, and procedures; conduct audits; recommend process improvement plans. This position must understand data-collection analytics, problem solving, and metric reporting to build a sustainable quality process at the plant level.



    • Coordinates and implements identified controls with sister plants and collaborative participation with Divisional Quality initiatives/projects
    • At plant leadership level, reviews and reports on safety issues in conjunction with the Safety Coordinator; monitors corrective actions to ensure improvement in safety initiatives; reviews process / policy improvements


    • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in the Engineering field (or Associate Degree plus 4 years practical experience)
    • Six Sigma or Lean GB certification highly desired
    • Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Quality Auditor/Engineer certification from ASQ required or ability to obtain within one year
    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience Leading a Quality Management System and/or Team; with sustained results through direct reports & influence
    • Experience operating in a QMS environment, preferably with experience in the implementation stages
    • Basic quality system knowledge (Document Controls, process audits, SPC, Sampling plans)
    • Demonstrated use of Quality / Six Sigma tools:
      • ANOVA, DOE, SPC
      • Formal problem solving experience (8D, PDCA, 5P, DMAIC, etc.)
      • Preferred APQP Tools (FMEA, Control Plan, etc.)
    • Strong Lean advocate, highly comfortable with Lean Systems, Lean Management and Standard Work
