    Masonite is looking for a software developer/engineer intern with a passion for developing websites and building applications that make a positive impact to users and the business. The intern will learn and utilize industry-relevant technologies such as Java, JavaScript, and React to develop mobile responsive websites and applications in an agile environment.  Actively participate in our Agile ceremonies, participate in testing and other quality assurance activities, and work with the team to diagnose and resolve bugs.  The intern will have exposure to real production applications and mentor opportunities with an enterprise architect to learn and practice pragmatic architectural design. 

    • Software Application Development
    • Development in Java or Javascript technologies
    • Limited Coding engagements with the wider development team



    • Working toward degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering
    • Working knowledge of one or more: Java, WordPress, MySQL, Bootstrap, JavaScript, React, HTML, or CSS.    

    • Agile Development experience
    • Passion for working in a startup type of environment and culture
    • Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills required
    • Detail-oriented, team player
    • Passionate about new technology and software
    • Junior, Senior, or Masters level students
    • 20 to 35 hours per week
    • Ability to work in our Ybor office
