The residential division quality engineer will optimize processes and establish process controls using methods such as Process Pre Controls, Control Charts, Process Audits, Taguchi experiments and DOEs, will help train employees in the usage of the aforementioned tools, and will assist in the management of divisional CTQs and metrics as part of the establishment of our Quality Management System. This position will also be responsible for establishing FMEAs and Control Plans, and modification or establishment of appropriate procedures and controls identified by the process requirements.

This position requires analytical abilities and structured problem-solving methods, as well as the ability to drive improvements in a very hands-on environment. The successful candidate will be expected to engage closely with the production processes and personnel, as well as communicate concisely with plant and division leadership. This position will be based in either Tampa, FL corporate office, Greenville, TX, Charlotte, NC or Dickson, TN, and will be considered a divisional resource. It will report directly to the Division Quality Manager and will require at least 50% travel. Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
