    • Develops and implements automated manufacturing processes, whether it be long connected process, or smaller manual processes that we develop robotics to aid operators using current processes
    • Perform various types of electro/mechanical work such as: operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing processes, and other production related equipment.
    • Troubleshoots, edits, and programs PLC Control Systems – high engagement with Allen Bradley
    • Provide technical support and the ability to train the plant's maintenance and production employees


    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science with at least 5 years of experience in the field of manufacturing automation and/or manufacturing robotics
    • Extensive experience programming control systems, electrical troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance in a high-speed, high volume, lean automation environment.
    • Ability to read, program and troubleshoot PLC ladder logic or other PLC based machine codes to resolve complex problems and/or optimize machine performance.

    Support from an Automation/Robotics Engineer based within the Residential Engineering Group could include:


    • Interior Door Assembly Systems
    • Material Handling Automation (load/unload systems, component handling, etc.)
    • Layup Projection Systems
    • Productivity measurement tool implementation

    Must be able to travel 75%.
