    Masonite is looking for experienced MS Dynamics Business Analyst with expertise in Advanced Warehousing and Transportation modules that will conduct the requirements gathering by interviewing end users regarding manufacturing processes on the shop floor. This person will create functional specification documents – such as SOPs, user manuals for the AX application, and training documentation. The MS DAX BA will also be responsible for user acceptance testing, end user training in classroom environment along with one on one, four (4) week onsite go-live support providing on the job AX functionality training to the end users in their production environment.

    • The Business Analyst works within Masonite’s ERP Core Team to support, define and implement primarily Dynamics AX related Manufacturing requirements and functionality.
    • Responsible for functional specifications, system configuration, solution testing, ensuring acceptance testing, end-user training and support.
    • Gather end user requirements by interviewing manufacturing shop floor workers and supervisors to document their work flow and create the requirements.  
    • Create specification documents by translating the end user requirements into AX specific and implementable requirements.
    • Collaborate with internal AX Developer to develop a design to meet user specifications.
    • Create functional design document through a series of process and flow diagrams as well as written documentation.
    • Use Task Recorder to create end user documentation and training materials.
    • Conduct user acceptance/integration testing to ensure the solution meets the end user business and system requirements.
    • Train end users in a class environment using thin clients in AX.
    • Teach end users how to be proficient in the use of AX in their job on the shop floor.
    • Go live support for 4 weeks and ad hoc availability to answer questions from the users.
    • Takes on Initiatives ranging from small modifications to new module/bolt-on implementations.
    • Participates in the implementation as a subject matter expert and represents customer's business requirements working closely with the business, fellow AX Business analysts, and developers to define solutions.


    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or related field and five (5) plus years of experience.
    • Specific and significant experience with configuration and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 – Advanced Warehousing and Transportation module
    • Additional experience with production and inventory modules are preferred.
    • Specific knowledge and experience in Manufacturing business activities either from Systems or Operations perspective.
    • Experience preferred in discrete and process manufacturing on a manufacturing shop floor.
    • Experience with MS Office, Visio, and AX Task Recorder.
    • Uses best in class benchmarks and own direct experience as catalysts for driving change.
    • Ability to engage the team through his/her enthusiasm and excitement about the business.
    • Readily connects with others; perceptive and pragmatic on how to effect change in an organization.
    • Excellent communication skills - both upward and downward and outside the company. Ability to lead and communicate orally, in written documents, and in formal presentations is required.
