    The Human Resources Assistant performs a variety of human resources responsibilities providing a diversified day-to-day work environment while allowing an individual to build on current HR background and experience levels.



    • Maintains the human resource database and all employee records and files
    • Handles payroll processing and tracks and reports payroll information
    • Completes assigned reporting functions involving attendance statistics, termination, hire and transfer data, and other information assigned
    • Provides recommendations regarding the development and administration of human resource policies and programs
    • Assists in informing new employees of human resource policies and programs as needed.
    • Develops requisition and inputs into iCims.
    • Administers hourly hiring process 
    • Coordinates and schedules interviews, extends offers, schedules background checks and physicals to include the processing of New Hire Paperwork (I-9 (Everify, W4)
    • Coordinates temp resources (according to HR policy)
    • Hourly -salaried onboarding Process; administers and supports development of onboarding programs
    • EAF (Mployee Central)/SAF using Workday software
    • Makes Kronos entries and adjustments and runs Adhoc Kronos reports to include attendance program administration
    • Tracks and advises on progressive disciplinary action
    • Benefit Enrollment - annual and new hire benefit orientation
    • Serves as Mployee Central Mbassador fielding Employee questions
    • Safety Operations training tracking



    • Basic understanding of human resource functions
    • Knowledge of all related computer applications.
    • Human resource reporting and record-keeping requirements.



    • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related matter preferred; will consider combination of experience and degree
    • Minimum of one year related experience.
