    This position works directly with customers and customer orders to translate their technical and aesthetic needs into specific factory processing parameters. The role has a direct, meaningful impact on cost, on time delivery, quality and the satisfaction of repeat customers. 



    • Enters door elevations, hardware, veneer, finish requirements, and frame locations for coordinated orders into Door Builder
    • Answers questions and provides clarification to customers
    • Reads basic blueprints to determine elevations and locations
    • Reads basic hardware templates to determine machining requirements
    • Applies labeling requirements for fire ratings
    • Understands parameters of warranty issues and how to direct customer concerns
    • Works toward achieving door-per-hour productivity targets
    • Identifies problems within orders and provides corrections
    • Works with multiple distributors


    • Ability to thrive in fast paced critical role
    • Entry level technical skills
    • Team oriented, detail-oriented
    • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
    • Must be able to work cooperatively on day-to-day activities as part of a team and be flexible in an ever-changing environment
    • Must possess strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and organizational skills 
    • Strong math skills
    • Understanding of detailed dimensions accurately and comfort working with fractions



    • Technical degree and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience (0-1 years)
    • Knowledge of door or wood product production a plus
    • Manufacturing industry experience preferred but not required
    • Drafting background and experience preferred
