•Consistent and accurate distribution of a diverse set of reports which include critical financial and operational metrics for Masonite’s manufacturing plants.
•Overall responsibility for leading the reporting and analytics strategy for the GBS organization. This includes: 1. improving cost of and efficiency of delivering reports/analytics; 2. Developing an advanced reporting environment that is flexible, increasingly automated, provides for self service capabilities, and information security; 3. Build capabilities within the team to assume additional scope of services and growth into higher value analytics and decision support.
•Support the GBS team and their related customers by providing meaningful data and analysis to foster business analytics and data insights.
•Drive operational efficiency and effectiveness for the GBS service model through process transformation that includes leveraging industry leading practices, assessing operational fit, development of a business case, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
•Development and stewardship of GBS performance measures, both quantitative and qualitative, that facilitate effective meeting cadences and engagement with customer and stakeholder of GBS.
•Provide project management capabilities (development of a plan, milestone tracking, escalations, etc) for key initiatives.
•Strong finance and accounting acumen with ability to identify financial relationships between operational and financial results. Leverage insights to influence business decisions.
•Ability to work directly with all levels of management including Masonite’s MLT.
•B.S. in Accounting or Finance; MBA or related Master’s degree preferred.
•15 years of progressive experience preferably in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment; + 7 years in a leadership role
•Cost accounting experience or demonstrated understanding of cost accounting principles
•Demonstrated experience with business process transformation such as system conversion, lead role in identifying and deploying innovation/technology
•5+ years leading reporting, analysis and/or data insights
