    Performance of planned preventative maintenance, which may include lubrication, cleaning, inspection, adjustments, and replacing worn or damaged parts on production and facility equipment.

    • Perform preventive maintenance duties including, greasing, oiling, lubricating, maintaining fluid levels, and changing/cleaning filters on various production and facility equipment
    • Must check and maintain the lubrication systems on the machines. Completes specific lubrication procedure for each machine.  Gathers oil samples for oil analysis.
    • May help with revisions to the procedures if needed.
    • Makes minor repairs to keep these systems working properly.
    • Generates work requests on findings and communicate with supervisor and/or maintenance personnel on breakdown situations.
    • Visual check of machines for leaks, worn or broken parts while lubricating. Reports findings.
    • Must keep lubrication areas neat clean and orderly. Will have to move supplies (oil drums, grease barrels, etc.)
    • Tracks inventory level of supplies needed for lubrication duties.
    • Adjusts chains, belts, Removes and replaces guards for visual checks. Cleans and blows out machines and oil tanks.  Checks hoses for leaks and wear.
    • Performs housekeeping duties.
    • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. Including project task and installs.
    • Follows safety rules and procedures. Ability to manipulate and understand the required functions of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
    • Maintains required records, logs, etc. with regard to inspections, testing, maintenance, installation and repairs of equipment and machinery.
    • Must be familiar with all safety regulations and be prepared to work in and supervise confined space entry, Arc Flash, and LOTO procedures
    • Follows all safety rules and procedures, as well as good housekeeping within the department and work areas in accordance with Masonite Architectural SOPs
    • All other job duties as assigned



    • High school education or GED
    • 1-3 years Industrial maintenance work experience Preferred
    • Hours must be flexible and be willing to finish a project in case of breakdown or project work. Shift varies/split
    • Must be able to work overtime and weekends when needed
    • Must be able to work at heights
    • Detail oriented and the ability to work in a team environment are required
    • Must be able to multi task in a fast paced environment
    • Physically capable of performing the essential duties and responsibility of this position
    • Good verbal, written and computer skills
